Incredibly Detailed ‘Paintings’ Made Entirely Of Old Blue Jeans

At first glance, it would be easy to mistake British artist Ian Berry’s—also known as Denimu—artwork as blue-hued paintings of urban scenes.

In actual fact, his pieces are actually crafted entirely from old blue jeans—which means that their attention to details is very impressive indeed.

Depicting the interiors of diners and bars, graffiti-covered abandoned houses, newspaper readers on the subway and other images of life in the city, Berry’s has turned the tough, utilitarian denim fabric into a versatile artistic medium.

Having been featured featured in countless art and fashion magazines, the artist’s works have been sold all over the globe to admiring collectors.
