American Designers Creates Typographic Posters Of Their Native States’ Mottos

Brooklyn-based designer and illustrator Dan Cassaro invited 50 American designers to create a typographic print centered around their native state’s motto—the resulting pieces are now exhibited at the Ace Hotel in New York City.

“50 and 50 is a curated project which attempts to construct a handsome new way of looking at our country. Fifty designers, one per state, have illustrated their state motto, creating something steeped in history but completely modern and unique: a kind of designer’s atlas.”

Featuring a patriotic palette of red and blue, each print displays a distinctive illustrative aesthetic and give new life to timeless slogans like “While I Breath, I Hope” and “Ever Upward”.

These graphic homage to the U.S.A are now available for sale over here.
