Stockholm-based design studio Humans Since 1982 has put together 288 analog clocks to create a digital installation.

Titled ‘A Million Times’, the analog clocks are powered by 576 electrical motors that drive the minute and hour hands.

The clocks create patterns as its black hands get rotated against the juxtaposed white surfaces—together, they move to new locations in a synchronized manner to form graphics, texts and even show the time.

A Million Times can be controlled via a customized iPad software.

The installation created for Victor Hunt is a follow up of the studio’s ‘The Clock Clock’ project, where 24 analog clocks were used to create one digital clock to tell the time.
