Pedestrian Bridge Prevents Snow From Blocking Path

Swedish firm Erik Andersson Architects has created a bridge that prevents snow from covering the path.

Located in Norrkoping, the 72 meter ‘Tullhus Bridge’ links the residential area around Strömsholmen to its downtown district.

A built-in hot-air system was installed to heat up the walk-way, keeping it clear from snow.

The bridge also features a built-in LED lighting system with the handrails, which illuminates the bridge and guides pedestrians and cyclists over the bridge.
