Everyday Objects Suspended In Acrylic to Create Bold, Statement-Making Bags

Those who think fashion is frivolous may have been proven wrong by the creative team at Ted Noten.

Alluding to the work of British artist Damien Hirst, the atelier suspends everyday objects—or animals, in some cases—in their acrylic handbags.

They have also created unusual make-up kits that are made to look like guns.

These works are not just aesthetically pleasing—each product urges the viewer to ponder about the issues of privacy, beauty and violence.

Contradictory in nature, these creations expose the superficiality of society while celebrating consumer culture.
