The Unnoticed Lives Of Tiny Street Art Figurines

Spanish artist Isaac Cordal has been crafting miniature cement figurines since 2002. However, he only started installing them in public locations 2006, when he laid his first piece in Vigo, Spain.

Since then, Cordal has installed the tiny sculptures in cities all over Europe, including London, Barcelona, Berlin, Amsterdam and Milan.

Cordal’s miniatures remind us that there is beauty to be found in other, less obvious areas, which are often overlooked because we focus too much on “beautiful, large things”.

By juxtaposing his miniatures against these overlooked areas, he offers us a “different way of looking at our behaviour as a social mass”.
