Pinterest’s New ‘Interests’ Tool Suggests Pins Based On What You Love

Photo-sharing website Pinterest has introduced a new ‘Interests’ tool that suggests pins based on your favorite things.

Currently, you can search for things to pin from categories like Food and Photography, and also receive pin suggestions from your pinboard’s feeds based on your friends’ interests. ‘Interests’ helps you find cool and interesting pins by suggesting things that it thinks you will like.

For example, if you love travel the Travel page is a good place to start. ‘Interests’ goes a step further by recognizing that you specifically love travel in New York City and will recommend New York City-related pins to you.

The new feature is part of Pinterest’s plan to improve its search capabilities and tools to enable you to discover more interesting pins and enhance your Pinterest experience.

To explore ‘Interests’, go to the Pinterest site and select “Preview! Explore Interests” in the categories menu.

What do you think of this new feature?
