Budweiser Unveils Limited Edition 2014 FIFA World Cup Bottle

With the 2014 FIFA World Cup set to kick off in Brazil this June, beer maker Budweiser has unveiled a limited edition bottle featuring the iconic World Cup trophy.

Made of aluminium, the shiny gold bottle carries the proud symbol of footballing prowess since 1974, and represents the centerpiece of Budweiser’s packaging that includes limited edition glass bottles and cans. It will be introduced simultaneously in over 40 countries.

As official beer sponsor of the World Cup, Budweiser will also launch ‘Rise As One’, a global creative campaign aimed at uniting fans around the world in celebration of the beautiful game. The campaign starts 5 March with a series of multiple online television spots and will include advertising efforts, custom-tailored strategies for each market, and activities to engage fans across various platforms.

In addition, Budweiser will produce and distribute global broadcast and online World Cup-related content through strategic media partnerships. More details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
