In German photographer Simon Menner’s latest series entitled ‘Camouflage Extended’, he worked with the German Army to photograph trained snipers hiding, completely undetected in the German Alps.
The snipers wore special uniforms that allowed them to blend in completely with their surroundings. Because of their camouflage, it is impossible for their enemies to spot them, until it is too late.
The thought-provoking series also calls us to question if the medium of photography is able to capture all that a scene is presenting to us.
