A New Record For ‘World’s Highest LEGO Tower’ Has Been Set

The world record for the highest LEGO tower has just been broken in Budapest, Hungary, by a group of determined schoolchildren and specialized workmen.

Standing at 34.76 meters, which is approximately 114 feet, this impressive obelisk has been constructed in front of the city’s famous St. Stephen’s Basilica, and was made with hundreds of thousands of LEGO bricks.

Topped by a Rubik’s Cube ornament, this LEGO skyscraper has been officially registered with the Guinness World Record, whose officials came down to verify it.
